Onion Soup

Makes about 2.5l of rich dark onion soup. By using green Oxo instead of beef stock it is vegetarian. The soup takes a good 2 hours working time plus hour to simmer.
Scale down as needed.

Autumn onions started

Set out Senshyu onions on 20cm spacing both ways. Three rows then 50cm walkway.
Raked in about 10g m-2 of 15,15,15 fertilizer.
Dibbed a hole twice as deep as needed and backfilled with loose soil so the roots don’t have to penitrate compacted soil. Added a tiny pinch of Root Grow in each hole
